Belinda Fu, M.D.


Dr. Fu, M.D. was raised in Los Angeles , California and completed her undergraduate studies at Stanford University . She then earned her medical degree at the University of California , San Francisco .

After medical school, Dr. Fu taught undergraduate biology and medical pharmacology at Stanford University .

She then moved to Seattle for her residency training in family medicine at the University of Washington . Dr. Fu also completed a year as Chief Resident and a Faculty Development Fellow at UW. Through her teaching experiences at Stanford and the University of Washington , she developed a passion for education, and she continues to teach residents and medical students at the University of Washington as a Clinical Instructor.

Dr. Fu's special areas of medical interest include women's health, care for newborns and children, and patient education. She is excited to be a part of Carena, and feels that "seeing patients in their own homes and having sufficient time to be with patients promotes the establishment of stronger physician-patient relationships, and better health outcomes."

Outside of medicine, Dr. Fu's hobbies include volleyball, improvisational theater, swing dancing, hiking and camping, snowboarding, and playing with her Springer Spaniel puppy, Skylark.
