Timothy Webb, M.D.
Raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Dr Webb was drawn to the Pacific Northwest after college by the outstanding reputation of the University of Washington. After a brief hiatus doing basic research in zoology, he recognized a desire to apply science while working with people that was not fulfilled in the laboratory. He worked for several years as a community mental health worker while completing his pre-med requirements and enrolled at the UW for medical school. Residency in Family Medicine followed, also in the UW system. Since residency Dr. Webb has worked in various practice settings: community hospital network clinic, rural clinic, emergency room, rural hospital medical director, public health clinic, locum tenens physician. Having experienced so many different aspects of health care across the country, he is particularly excited to be a part of the truly innovative approach practiced by the Carena physicians. Outside of medicine, Dr Webb’s attention is consumed by the many activities of his teenage son and three school age children, as well as with his wife, who is also a Carena physician.
